Hi, I'm Eryn!
I was just 16 when I left home, only months away from graduating high school. I grew up singing and dancing with my family and community saying that I was going to be the next Michael Jackson. Suddenly, on my own, my talent didn't seem to count for much. It reminded me of my tween years, when I had all the questions seemingly in the world but no one to ask, because the adults in my family were too busy dealing with unresolved pain from their own pasts. So, there I was left to figure life out for myself.
I started going to church at 10, but the verses shared with us and the teaching provided did little to help me navigate my challenges even then. So, as I began to read the Bible, in contemporary English at 17, I was amazed at its relevance, and even more at 27, when my husband, our two babies at the time, and I survived being hit by a drunk driver, on our way home from seeing a movie. I'd spent that week asking GOD some of the questions that I'd carried within since my single digits, and HE led me to peace in HIM just before our car was totaled in that accident, where HE also led me to do a most unusual thing that ultimately saved our infant's life. Shortly after that, I began immersing myself in GOD'S WORD like never before, and I discovered through that deep dive that THE HOLY SPIRIT really will teach us all things, as it says in 1 John 2, once we believe and our hearts are, indeed, ready to receive.
Having been married now for 31 years to my husband, Anthony, given birth to a total of 13 children including 2 sets of twins by the time I was 40, having walked away from the lives we felt secure in to follow JESUS to places where we knew no one nor had we ever been, having lived in our minivan a couple times, and having been led to relocate to a brand new state where THE LORD also led us to go to ministry school and we became licensed as well as ordained... I was led to return to school over 40 to earn my Digital Cinematography Bachelor's and Entertainment Business Master's degrees. We went directly from living in our van to owning our first home, and in the process, we just learned to trust and depend on GOD for everything, every day. So, let's just say that I know the power of GOD and HIS WORD to guide us through life's highs and lows, even when we don't know what to pray. I understand having questions and sometimes even doubts. However, I also know what it is to never lose my love for and trust in HIM - even on the days that I had to hold on to them by a thread. After the darkest nights, the sun still rose the next morning as surely as GOD THE SON - JESUS rose on the third day and sits at the right hand of GOD THE FATHER in glory, until HE returns for we who believe and follow HIM.
MY PERSONAL WHY FOR WANTING TO DEVELOP EGKU
My spiritual baby, ERYN GREEN KINGDOM U, is me just wanting to be there for any of you going through the toughest of life's challenges, and you don't want religion, but you need relationship. You don't want judgment, but you need empathy and compassion. EGKU is for those who don't need someone hurling scriptures at them like a disciplinary lash, but rather wrapping it about their bodies with the love and warmth that was intended by our DADDY GOD for healing, restoration, and ultimately salvation. Because even for us who have already accepted the free gift of GOD'S Grace through CHRIST JESUS, who is our LORD and SAVIOR, the daily winds and waves that we face make it seem hard sometimes to maintain our water-walk or to "stay saved." I'm here to remind you to keep your eyes on JESUS no matter what, but also to remind you that if you have a moment that causes you to sink, JESUS is just a shout away.

The VERDANT BOUTIQUE ROYALE, the online home of all EGKU Merchandise, which will include all of our books, music, movies, clothing, accessories, and home decor designed especially for the uplifting of our EGKU Family, as well as games and toys designed to teach Financial Literacy to our children early.
John called it, when HE said that THE HOLY SPIRIT is THE TEACHER, as I am but the facilitator, and administrator, as well as perhaps your GOD-ordained cheerleader, here to remind my sisters in CHRIST and Humanity that we can, because of our LORD who alone is THE GREAT I AM.
